How Epoxy Flooring Bend Works
Epoxy Flooring Bend coats concrete floors in Bend and across Central Oregon: attached garages, shops, home gyms, basements where a house has one, and commercial spaces. We install epoxy, polyaspartic, flake and metallic systems. The system gets picked after we have stood on your slab and looked at it closely.
The high desert is hard on concrete in its own way. Freezing nights can show up in September and still be around in June. The City of Bend puts magnesium chloride on streets before icy weather, and that chemical rides home on your tires. Sun at this elevation is strong, and garage doors stay open on summer days. A floor here needs a good bond, a chemical-resistant surface and a topcoat that holds its color.
How we work
- We measure the floor and check it for moisture, oil, old sealers, cracks and scaling.
- You get a written quote with the system, the number of coats, the prep work and the total.
- The whole slab is diamond ground so the coating bonds to clean, open concrete.
- Cracks, pits and chipped joints are filled before the first coat.
- We give you walk-on and park-on times for the product we use and the temperature that day.
- If the scope changes, we write the change up and you approve it before we do it.
We only coat concrete. If a slab has a problem a coating will not solve, like water coming up through it, heaving, or a structural crack, we say so at the estimate.
